One thing seems to be consuming the public mind - the ever approaching "Far Gods" as some would call them. These Anomalies are considered by many - and Secrtio-31 - to be Thargoid in nature; simply a response to Salvation's 'pulse'. These days, the vast majority of SC-31 is dedicated to being on the cutting edge of information regarding the Anomalies.
I myself have overseen the production of three platoons: one a rescue division headed by my ever faithful Orca, Abraham - and the other,s simply as a precaution against potentially unavoidable confrontation - two separate anti-xeno divisions. One to be fronted by a proto-type guardian-infused Chieftain, Golden-Gun; the other a small-scale division outfitted with zero guardian tech, headed by my ship the Vulcheron, incase we are dealing with something hereby unknown that is resistant to such methods.
The team down in Astro reported the Anomaly reached HD 38291 on Sept 6 at 23:58, and began heading for Oochorrs JE-C c15-0, 26.8 lightyears away. On Sept 7, approximately halfway there, it slowed down to an estimated 0.275ly/h, putting its projected ETA into the UTC afternoon on Sept 9. Visual confirmation of the Anomaly was confirmed while it was still deep in interstellar space around HD 38291; seemingly without any indication it disappeared from the visual spectrum seemingly completely, and was only observable via the previously observed audio frequencies.
However, on Sept 9 some of our deep field observers, as well as independent members of the Pilots Federation, completed an operation in system JE-C, finally establishing visual contact again at a range of about 3 light years. The Anomaly appeared similar in appearance as before with no observable changes. The Anomaly reached Oochorrs JE-C c15-0 on Sept 9 at 13:42, and began heading for Oochorrs SZ-N d7-5, 26.07 lightyears away.
A second Anomaly was discovered in the direction of Elysian Shore. It is apparently approaching Slegi SP-E D12-5 (2789ly from Oochorrs SZ-N d7-5, 3316ly from Sol) with properties consistent with the first - in essence, another 'Stargoid' as some call it. The signal has a 400km radius and moving at 0.23c and gaining speed.
The route of UIA#1 and UIA#2 so far is too short to meaningfully extrapolate, but a best-fit line through the waypoints (via Principal Component Analysis) passes within 98ly of Sol and 234ly of HIP 22460
Only one known picture seems to exist - captured in SLEGI JD-W B46-0 by an Independent member of the Pilots Federation, Section-31 was about to intercept the signal as it was sent to unknown recipients. These rogue signal sources seem to only emit on the nonvisible spectrum, except for brief intermittent and unexplained moments when... something... appears visible.
