I've personalize reviewed our operatives footage of the events that transpired at the symposium today, combed security footage, and even conducted a few witness interviews - neither I nor any of them can believe an augmented human is capable of moving they way she did, let alone the unaugmented individual she presents to be. She must of gotten through, what, 6 or 7 professionally train & armed Augs? just to make it onto that stage... and to disarm them in the process? Whatever she is, it isn't natural or cybernetic as we know it.
But how could she be? Project Seraph’s attempts to create human pilots for Thargoid vessels; it may seemingly answer how she manged to accomplish the display we got today, but like a hydra every question we answer two more rise in its place - and her story of escaping by stowing away on a courier’s ship? she certainly appears capable, but cant we trust anything we have seen or heard regarding Seo Jin-ae.
She most assuredly has a deeper connection to Alba Tesreau - the article itself broke news even to our humble, yet effective, organization. Jin-ae is Subject D-2 and Records corroborates the info published both today and previously in June. Previously we had no known biometric data from which to confirm D-2's true identity against, but thankfully due to quick action by operatives in attendance in New Apollo City were able to acquire trace fingerprints and a hair sample. I am expecting hourly updates from Genomics on the hair sample, but already we are making discoveries of exactly what Project Seraph truly entailed.
One final question hangs over the entire experience: why did Professor Tesreau just stand her ground while Jin-ae disarmed & subdued a minimum of 6 highly trained and cyber-augmented guards? Should we accept Jin-ae's explanation of attempting to reach Professor Alba regarding some sort of insight unto ‘Thargoid roar’ heard at HIP 22460, then we are faced with two questions: 1, why did Jin-ae simply not use previously acquired channels to reach an already contacted Professor Alba instead of risking life & limb in such a public display? 2, if such a public display was the goal, then whom would stand to benefit?
