Remembrence 1
06 Sep 2016Niatra
When the knife was drawn out of the dead body, it simply fell to the ground. With a warm "thump" it colided with the floor, leaving the gangway empty again. Niatra stood upright, the 10 inches long dagger in his right hand, slowly starting to breathe again.
"The hallway is clear. Guards eliminated."
"Copy that Shadow, Buster is on its way. Eagle out."
Still standing between 4 dead federal guards, Niatra glared down to the door. That is where he was needed, but something was stopping him.
As if something was not right yet. A sudden noise from behind woke him up. Swirling around his own axes he found his blade against the throat of a woman around his age. She looked paralised on the bodies and into his eyes.
"Tell me why I should not kill you right here!" he asked in a calm, but steady voice.
Without a further word, she fell onto the floor after losing her concience.
Niatra's thoughts were blank. Unsure what to do, he ducked down, seeing if she had a pulse.
"Shadow, this is eagle. Is the lockdown still enacted? Buster is being decimated."
"Shadow here, I had a small issue. Give me a second!"
Niatra ran to the room on the other side of the hallway, threw his dagger into the guard that tried to duck behind the desk that was put there as a barricade, and knocked down the guard to the right of the door. After the crack of the skull he went over to the console, swept of the soldier's body in disgust and released the security clamps. Down below he saw 'Buster' having a firefight with the federal forces, now pouring into the opened gate.
"Do not move!"
In the security room's windows, Niatra saw the same woman from before behind his back, with his own dagger close by his spine.
"Who are you?" he said puzzled, when the back of the dagger hit his head and knocked him out.
