Place of thy heart
27 Dec 2016Niatra
“Home”….Niatra eyed the greenish-blueish planet rotating slowly below him.
It was not as vibrant as the main Planet in LFT 37. Thick industrial smoke could be seen from up high and the trails of large military vessels were visible moving towards Hirase Horizons. A lot of Templars where marching through the stations interior, all saluting Niatra who was sitting on one of his many boxes. Guns upon guns, tons and tons of materials have been shipped here with him.
Adopting the new environment would prove a challenge. Onnes gateway, although still damaged through Alien influence, has become his home in the past year. It was a beautiful station and the landing pads themselves already were warmly welcoming him back everytime.
Here the station was strictly militarised. The walls were darker than the grey the Inquisitor wore. Red banners of the Templar fighting Force could be seen every few metres, patrols of recruits led by veterans marched through the hallways, following the echoes of yet another cadre. Every door was guarded by a squad of Guards, heavily armed. The security in this station was strict. Too strict for Niatra. At least soon they would have realised who he was, he hoped.
He flung himself of the crate, moving towards his new office. It will not be as big as his previous, but it will suffice and also have enough room for his armament, finally. It was also located very close to the landing bays, closer than his previous one and it still had a kitchen, an office and a bedroom with a small bathroom.
Niatra started smiling.
At least it was away from people.
Since the “incident” as everybody calls it now, he had changed. He has gone cold and very dark.
Niatra stepped into his new office, realising how immediately he knew where everything would go and how it would turn out.
The smile got brighter and he breathed in deeply.
“Home!”
