Captain's Log - 16/09/3302- Since our recent operation in the system of Merope, our warp core has been playing up lately. We have decided to head back to Achenar for repairs. Cause is "unknown", but I wonder if it has anything to do with the strange objects that we have been experimenting with. What fears me, is why and who exactly knows these things are called "Thargoids". Did they encounter them before, I wonder. What worries me more, is the Federation that are becoming more aggressive and ignorant by the day. They must be hiding something, and I want to find out.
In the mean time, I have ordered shore leave for my crew to spend time with their families. The Emperor has also issued a meeting for those involved with the "Olympus" program. Hopefully I might see my old colleagues and friends there. This is Captain Starfire, signing off.
