A Romp in the Ruins
An exploratory mission was setup by CMDR Dirty_Violator to bring a few pilots to a Guardian site. CMDRs Umbriidgwariino, AugmentedJester, and SuperChed were all new to AX, and Guardian technology. They set out in various ships, some in small compact designs, with others in full-AX preparation. Dirty walked us through the grounds a few times, pointing out various artifacts and explaining the puzzle. After meeting for a group shot
they charged into activating the puzzle, and capturing the new alien technology. Umbriidgwariino exclaimed “this is even cooler with the lights off”, enjoying the blue glow of the artifacts. Before the group could fully start the ancient machine, a giant explosion rocked AugmentedJester's rover - knocking out his shields, and sending debris whizzing past his cockpit. "What was that?! Are we being attacked already?" asked Jester, "No, that was me..." SuperChed radioed in, after pulling some crazy maneuver that resulted in rapid and ultimate destruction. The remaining CMDRs went about completing the puzzle in their SRVs, and scooping up every last material they could find. When Dirty brought the group here, they were filled with amazement and wonder. But now all were determined to build a new AX fleet to bolster the Imperial ranks, and save humanity. The grind continues for CMDRs old and new alike, we are all unified in our goal to defeat the Thargoid invaders.- Triarius SuperChed
