The Chronicles II

So it wasn't pretty at first. But I came into contact with the commander Renraiku that took it upon himself to generously share his reward earnings with me. I was able to leave that wretched loaned sidewinder into something much more appealing.  After watching him murder countless wanted criminals, and flying my first ever fighter I felt on top of the world.  Even though, that small ship seemed so fast and versatile that I could barely maneuver it correctly. Of course, I spent very little time investing my time in order to multiply just how much more I would be able to make. I thought should I hunt down other wanted pilots, should I give it a try once again at trading galactic commodities or should I even sell my own explored data at ports. But something came across my mind above all else, void opals. Yes those precious gems we have all been hearing about. The gems that could take someone from nothing to something in just a matter of hours, days. I have heard countless stories of commanders who have made hundreds of millions of credits even billions in such a short time mining these precious gems. Is it a gold rush? I won't wait to find out. My motivation has always been wealth. As others are motivated by the thrill to kill, manipulate, explore, fly the newest vessels. For me it has been much simpler, I just want to be filthy rich. I want to bathe like dragons of old. Where they lay their massive bodies atop gold and silver.

Now after making close to 80 million credits off just void opals, alexandrite, and other precious gems I have decided to continue my work once again to make better relations with these so-called engineers. These men and woman that seem to have the technology to truly upgrade my vessel. It is a journey I look forward to so anxiously. I have been told of one such woman in Deciat who can help me get this FSD to take me further than I was previously able to go.

For many, they have no idea but I have embarked on a journey with a squadron I was once actually a Deputy Wing Commander of, at the time I abandoned my dream for something much more selfless. I had heard tales of an Admiral who was making a change across the galaxy. But I won't get too much into that. After rejoining my first wing in this world of Elite, Spectre Squadron I have been reunited with longtime friends. Many have come and gone but I could say a handful of them and I have always maintained contact. Loyalty isn't given, it's earned.  I have decided to start over. No titles, no grandeur just freedom. The smell of freedom is ever so sweet.

For now I will end this entry here. Stay frosty commander.
