Lore Tripping into the Formadine Rift, Finding the Children of Raxxla: Elysian Shores

Yesterday I finished an expedition with my newfound allies in the cause of just being good people. It was a rather short, approximately one month long, expedition called New Year, New Discoveries 2. Of course this was only about a month after The Pilot's Federation issued me a license and I flew my first space faring vessel. Now I have made several upgrades and I am currently flying the Krait MkII Galois' Duel, not quite fully optimized for exploration, but why grind when I can see the galaxy!During that one month in the black void of space I found that my attitude toward exploration has changed considerably. At first, all I thought about was how many jumps I could make, I would honk, then scoop, make a quick scan on my FSS and then move on. Now that my jump range is a little longer and my experience a little greater, I have a much greater appreciation for the beauty that can be found in a system without a single potentially terraformable planet contained within it.
Today I found a system that had two sets of binary stars in very close orbit to one another, a very fast spinning Neutron Star, two scoopable stars and a brown dwarf. It was a sight to behold. I shared it with everyone I could!
At the end of the day, many Neutron Jumps later, I dropped out of supercruise to complete FSD repairs and then landed at a beautiful set of previously undiscovered geysers. Under the brown dwarf sun, I powered down the ship and shut my eyes. I will dream of undiscovered planets and unseen life.
