16 FEB 3306 - Path Rangers Colonia Migration

17 Feb 2020Trazen
Path Rangers have been migrating to Colonia for the past week. It has been a jump slog through two legs of the Colonia Highway as our convoy continues to move ever closer. Upon arrival at our first stopping point, Amundsen Terminal, the ton of cartography data we unloaded was enough to immediately grant us Allied status with the Colonia Council. This was fortunate considering Colonia was going to be our new digs.

After arriving there I moved out to Attenborough's Watch in the next system to use as a staging point for the next leg and gave the squad some much needed R&R until we were ready to muster out. This was also to allow our second in command, Cmdr Kobi Tai, to catch up with us. I spent most of that time exploring a lot of the Lagoon Nebula.

After Tai managed to touch down at Amundsen, the convoy moved out on the second leg of the journey to the Eagle Nebula. This leg proved to be much shorter and we cut back on the amount of systems we fully scanned along the way, eager to reach Eagle's Landing and put the light years behind us. Several hours later, I was the first to touch down and the squad caught up shortly after. We are now taking another shore leave to check out the Eagle Nebula.

There is a curious set of F-class star systems arranged in a rectangle right in the nebula. The Eagle Sector Secure Facility prison colony sits in a system just outside the mysterious arrangement, so I jumped over there to do some of my own exploration. They're very tightly packed, and are a local legend to the guards and others I spoke to. There are a lot of conspiracy theories regarding them, ranging from the Thargoids, to alien gods, and Rallax. I think the asteroid base will be a good staging point for our next leg to Colonia too. Trazen out.
