28 FEB 3306 - PATH RANGERS COLONIA EXPEDITION
28 Feb 2020Trazen
After a brief stay in Rohini, I arrived in Sacaqawea Space Port in the evening after jumping over 4,000 LYs. After that haul it was nerve racking to do a planetary landing, which is not one of my favorite things. Our XO wound up finding a ton of undiscovered systems and racked up the bonuses once he landed though. I had nothing new, but made a pretty good profit on my own carto data. We spent a brief time at Sacagawea before moving on to a 3k+ LY / 121 jump trek to Gandharvi, which actually skips Gru Hypue KS-T d3-31 (Gagarin Gate / Vostok-1 Nebula), a stop slightly over to the side along the Colonia Highway. It adds a few hundred light years to the next stop, but I decided to head for Gandharvi's orbital stations. The system is also smack in the middle of a massive star cluster, which has the crew eager to get there.
The vast emptiness between each hop on the Highway is staggering. There is little sign of other life, but the endless string of systems to scan calls to you, the grueling jump/scan/scoop/jump grind be damned. PR will be publishing the entire route taken on this trip for all other pilots to use if they like, currently working out the details.
