Zephyrus Expedition Log, 06-27 to 06-28/3306
28 Jun 2020Trazen
Forward elements of the fleet launched at 20:09 UTC today, reaching the first waypoint in record time. There has been lots of undiscovered country along this route! Now sitting somewhere in Odin's Hold on the higher galactic plane, the intrepid forward fleet has covered 4,367 LYs in several hours and visited the Uvhash black hole in Agnairt YU-Y f3281 as well as the Wings of Mercury in Wepaa FG-Y g1750. After an amazing and exhausting run, ships are holding in a classified location for some of the first main elements to come through the route. It's an exciting time to be a Ranger! The next major waypoint is the carrier DSSA Enigma, a beacon in the black for weary explorers. There are several POIs the fleet will be exploring as it continues it's journey to the edge of the Mere Desperationis in a daring flight across the galaxy. Shout out to Ranger Tekaki for heading out to lead the way, the heart of what the Path Rangers squad is all about. This is shaping up to be a great expedition. The excitement and adrenaline of the day's run hasn't quite worn off for the scouts and I, so we had several drinks to celebrate. And as we pass on to slumber, the call of the black reaches out to us...
