Journey to the Middle

I look at my old log entry and laugh. Oh no, 300 LY! Well, I just completed my journey to Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole in the center of our galaxy. It didn't take too long, 5 days, but boy was it boring. The novelty of finding a new system that had been undiscovered previously wore off about 1/3 of the way through, and I just continued on until I got to where I was going.
That said, when I got to it, Sag A * was beautiful. Gravitational lensing, the bright background of stars all around me getting engulfed whenever I tried to look at/through the black hole. It was slightly terrifying though, in the same way that a lion is terrifying. There's something in your primitive brain that says "That thing is powerful, I should stay away." I managed to gather the courage to scan the visitor beacon, and was surprised to see a couple of Beluga liners that must have been taking some tourists in for some sights. Must have been some rich tourists to make that trip, fuel isn't cheap.
Now, I'm off on my way home, making a stop in Colonia to get a drink at Jacques. I've heard it was a party station, I'll soon find out.
Do you like it?
