Reach for the Stars Poem

Reach for the stars, I know you canIf it is in your heart, it is in your hands.
It's the explorers dream to see that which has not been seen,
to go to places that no one has ever been.
To gaze with wonder as the sights unfold
to create the stories that are, as yet untold.
I have been to many worlds as I traveled the stars,
in my tiny ship that has taken me so far.
From one end of the galaxy to the other it seems,
always searching for what we can now only dream.
Worlds like earth, of ice, rock and more
so many worlds to see, so many worlds to explore.
And some day, I hope before I am dead,
I can find that perfect world, to rest my weary head.
