CMDR's Log 5th of December 3310
05 Dec 2024ApolloTheWhite
With the recent turn of events in Sol and realizing that I have been in the black on my Sag A* to Colonia trip for over 2 years, prior to the titan's arrivals I thought it was about time to put pen to paper as you might say and make my first log as a new carrier owner. As I sit here aboard the Galactica looking back on the trip so far while enjoying some rest and a bit of a break from exploring I can't help but start planning the return trip to the bubble. The path is already set as I have bookmarked systems along my original path due to some unfortunate misunderstandings and bad decisions in the cockpit. Having limped to Sag A* and replacing on AFMU with repair limpets I easily made the rest of the trip to Colonia. Cashing in over $12B in data and putting my name on over 6,000 planets, with hundreds of first footfalls and over 400 firsts on exobio has felt like an amazing accomplishment even if I've just scratched the surface in this galaxy.
Having made the trip in my trusty Anaconda with a jump range of 27lys to Sag A* and 37lys from there to Colonia I have semi-retired her and set myself up in a new Mandalay and I am loving it. Alongside my new explorer Shadowfax sits the new T8 Tritium miner Durin. These will the ships that will get me and the Galactica back to the bubble along the same path I took out here so that I may put my name on the thousands of discoveries that I missed and tagged. I cannot stress enough to new CMDRs, proper planning and research is key, haha.
I suppose that's enough at the moment. Time to head back out there, visit the local engineer and find some tritium to top off the carriers hold before I begin my journey home.
Fly safe CMDRs,
