Wedding Day

The big day is upon us, finally! So as we stated before, we didn't want a huge wedding. We just wanted a nice wedding cruise, so we hired the Sunday Girl to take us to Jackson's Lighthouse for the vows. The day has finally arrived and we meet our cruise commander KingBoah who welcomes us with one of his most luxurious cabins. We're told that the trip will take 2 hours to get to the location. Jen states that we should take a tour of the liner to which I agree to. One of the crew members takes us around the living quarters and dining hall. The hall itself is pretty impressive. If we had invited a huge number of guests, this would be the perfect place to enjoy our meals and dancing.
We make our way to the viewing lounge. The location of where our actual vows will be said. It's decorated for our wedding. The look in her eyes as she is looking around shows me she is extremely excited. We don't want to linger here too much and ruin it's beauty, so we head back to our cabin to get ready as only 30 minutes remain. She quickly informs me that all the nonsense about not seeing the bride before the wedding is horseshit. My opinion on how she looks is the only one she wants to hear. She says, "Why have a bunch of bitches lie to me about how I look just to be in my wedding when I can get an honest opinion from my husband who knows I'll make his life hell if he lies?"
Destination arrived! We proceed to the viewing hall and her eyes light up. The bright blue hue originating from Jackson's Lighthouse illuminates the entire hall. The minister is positioned in front of the viewing window with his back facing the star. We gather in front of him and the wedding proceeds. He reads off all his required stuff he needs to say then we finally get down to the vows. Jen's vows are, to say the least, interesting. She states, "I vow to always love you. I will always be faithful to my husband. I promise to plunder and pirate with you till the day we die. And I promise, no vow, to tear you apart if you ever betray me." That was very heartwarming and quite threatening. My vows are somewhat similar with the exception of ripping her apart. `The minister then claims, "I now pronounce you, pirate lord and pirate queen. You may now kiss your bride!"
After everyone else leaves the hall, we remain by the viewing window in each other's arms. We stare out into the blue star for the first time as husband and wife. Though it doesn't feel any different then before because we've always been together, but now we're united by marriage. We don't want to think about anything else but the moment we're in right now. The ship starts to slowly pull away from the star and head back to dock. We got some good photos for the book.
Signing off....
Mr and Mrs Pirate Lord!
