Systems check, Prismatic Shield Generator and Shield Cell back online, Hull and Module reinforcements outfitted, Beam lasers with heat vent engineering installed, Burst and Pulse lasers with Scramble Spectrum and Emissive Munitions engineering, ready to go. Core Modules ready, ship docked and standing-by.
Boston Base this is CVN-06, ready to depart. (Docking clamps released, fly safe commander)
Z axis +25, Engines to 50%, secure landing gear. Clearing the mail slot. Engines to 100%, pips 3 to system and 3 to engines. Mass lock cleared and engaging FSD to super cruise.
Scanning system for combat zones, 3 located near-by and we have a High CZ near planet Cooke. . Course set. Receiving system wide communications, unable to locate source, messages from refugees fleeing the area and calls for military support. Approaching CZ, and dropping out into normal space.
7.5 KM out from center of CZ. Fighting is underway with laser blasts and munitions fire from all ships. Weapons deployed. Boosting to nearest enemy ship, Pip change, 3 to Weapons and 3 to System, signalling that I am joining the 10th fleet.
(Warning, Capital Class Signature Detected) Incoming Farragut Battle Cruiser, hope they dont run me over. I see the distortion field from the FSD. Changing course to intercept enemy ships and opening fire. Farragut Battle Cruiser is emerging. They are firing all weapons on enemy ships.
Changing course to the port bow of the Cruiser, Engines to optimal speed, 65%. 1 Eagle and 1 FDL staying close with the cruiser while it is locked on to other ships. Targeting eagle and opening fire. 7 second burst from twin 4A beam lasers have taken their shields out and health down below 15%. Adjusting course to keep medium and large beam laser turrets locked on. Ship destroyed. Target locked on FDL, 4A lasers have recharged and opening fire with 2 second burst to get their attention. Turrets have targeted and are firing. FDL is returning fire and changing course to intercept. Increase speed to maximum and waiting to close the distance. 700 meters, 600m, Firing all weapons and hitting boost for high speed collision. Their shields are down and hull down to 83%. My shields are holding around 90%. Activating Corrosive Multi-Cannon, engines to 65% and pitching to hostile ship. Cruiser has opened fire on FDL. Hull rapidly decreasing, resuming fire. 70,55.40, 13, 0. FDL destroyed. Targeting nearest enemy hostile. 900 meters away, Anaconda with shields failing. Setting course and boosting to target. Cruiser and multiple 10th fleet ships are continuing to fire. 700 meters and opening fire. Hull health rapidly failing, allied ships now retargeting with Anaconda starting to explode.
The remaining ships faced a similar fate. reinforcements for enemy forces kept jumping in, but it did them no good. They didnt even have enough time to jump out. A few times we actually had 5-15 seconds with no enemy contacts. I believe with each run before I needed to restock my Multi-Cannon I made around 1.5 million with the Combat Bonds. All of this was before Capital ships started taking bonds away from commanders.
