Welp, started out next to one of the Federation capital ship wrecks in HIP 17044, then went to investigate some high wakes in the area (turned out to be other CMDR's that left just as I woke up.)Went back to the wrecks to do some more poking around and was caught with my pants down by one CMDR Rich Handlebar. I was in camera mode and this ... well ... "person" I guess would be the charitable way of describing him sent me to the rebuy screen without so much as a "o7". I guess I have a better understanding now of why the Thargoids hate us so much.
