Interesting scanning here, including gas giants, one with ammonia-based life. First contact was a funeral ship, hope that's not an in-system omen.
Answered a distress call and went to get a fuel limpet. but USS did not persist after I jumped out - a shame. I told the search and rescue, for all the good it would do, but they weren't far out. Someone else will stop.
Next stop, CB-3 in system IC 1287 Sector RO-Q B5-1, 459 light years out - 10 jumps and refuelling will be required.

Disturbingly, approaching the station from the right angle (or possibly, the wrong angle) shows up a grinning face. This level of paredolia is not something you want in deep space.
