I have lived free for so long. Every decision my own. No one to claim responsibility for me. They have fined me for the last time. They may pay others to kill me, but I will not die. The Federation, a glorious monument to culture, power, and learning.
But the old wolf lies wounded by jackals, and circled by vultures.
Worried to death by a billion tiny faceless mouths, plucked low by your own lasers.
These are the death throws of the Federation. The light of civilization dims and scatters.
And you have such precious time left to hide your woman, For your children to cry.
Even at the moment of your final defeat you will take no comfort in oblivion.
