Break Time's Over: Eleventh Entry

I'm gonna start titling these.New year was uneventful on the personal level, but the grand scheme is having politics play out, and it's quite somethin'; Big super-powers gonna have a grand ol' council, themselves, Lakon was totally bought out. Less grand is lack of stability in this sector. I take a few days off and this is what happens, guess my break time's over. The trouble Haskill gets into when I'm not around simply boggles the mind.
Without giving names or locations, I've explained this situation on a few public channels, and most seem to be against Delta, as well. There was one that had the idea that the sudden Federation support has to do with Lakon's buy-out, but while these systems are near the old worlds, they're not in them. Another suggests Feds may have sown discord between PAL and Delta, but that would have happened a good six months ago; Feds don't play the long game like that. Like I said, Delta can't take through force, so now they're trying to undermine us.
The Council has moved this conflict into one of the more pressing matters, but I fear that may get shoved aside what with the recent Thargoid attacks in the Coalsak and WitchHead. There's been loads of Alliance volunteers heading out those ways, though, so maybe not. Any case, it's still just PAL and Delta here.
ARC is under agreement that PAL is to take control of the inhabited systems near it, the resources would go to supporting the Alliance. In exchange, ARC would take up the responsibility of maintaining these systems, as would be their responsibility anyway, because, once again, PAL is an Offshoot of ARC; the latter helped create the former.
Delta just wants these under their banner, add it onto their already massive plate. Before long, something is gonna slip and they ain't gonna have the insight to catch it. I wonder if that will be Before or After whenever the Council will provide a ruling?
I think I'm finally getting used to my tail. It takes some concentration and effort, but I can finally move it. Sitting is still a bit weird, but that's easily remedied; I ended up ordering a replacement seat for all my ships, one with a hole in it. The one for my Cutter was quite expensive, coulda bought like 3 new ships with that kinda cash. I think the delivery and installation fees were part of the price, it was the first to arrive and be fitted, and good God does it work wonders. I probably saved a cow with how much leather they didn't use.
