Full Fledged: Sixteenth Entry

I am finally a complete member of Lavingy's Legion, no longer under the initiation trial status, I get access to some of the more sensitive stuff no you can't see I ain't unloyal like that and some historical records, like back when I was an auxiliary member before I had my cosmetics done, and Wow was I ugly and I don't ever remember being THAT fat. What REALLY sucks is that I missed the ceremony for it; I'm typing this out as I wake up. Ragged flagged sleep schedule. If I was an actual Avali I could get away with some really strong power naps.I found out why my appearance don't get any negative attention, at least; Genetic Work is openly practiced within the Empire, from cloning to modifications. My own is a hardier immune system and cosmetic work. Well, mostly cosmetic: I measured myself some time last night, and I can confirm I am WAY shorter than what I was, by a good 6 or 7 inches. Bit lighter, too, lost a good 20 pounds. All this pales in comparison to what other genetic stuff I've seen, though: Super Soldiers, Public Figures, and... well, courtesans for lack of a better word. Rumor has it the Federation accused the Empire of creating an army of clones long time ago, 'The 501st Battalion' is the fabled name from what I could find out. Makes me wonder how much the Royal Family has undergone?
Speaking of, apparently it's 'Emperor' and not 'Empress.' Might take me a while to break that, but I don't get it: Arissa's not the first female Ruler to have the title in human history, just the first in a thousand or so years. I don't mean no disrespect, and I prolly won't get an answer, but why not use the gender appropriate title? They both hold the same meaning, same power. Eh, whatever, at least my unpopular opinions aren't as unpopular as my short time with the Alliance. I ain't gonna drop that for a while, beside I look better in purple, anyway~! That reminds me, I need to go get fitted for my new fancy uniform, I'll go do that after this log is published.
Against my better judgement, I went back out to Colonia again. I needed to speak with Mel Brandon out there, and I forgot that they're not as connected as the bubble, coulda sworn someone screamed 'thargoid' when they saw a non-human walkin' about. Was kind of a sobering experience, actually, an outsider's perspective. After that shock-and-awe episode, Mel taught me how to use those fancy Shield Cell Banks and how he could modify them, even set me up so he could walk me through the process when I went back to the Bubble. I didn't stay longer than I needed to, no offense to y'all out there but I hate Colonia, nothing to do out there.
Enough writing, food time. Haven't even since I woke up yet, and my stomach's not too happy about it.
