A Hard Fought Victory: Eighteent Entry

Since my last entry, I've learned that the Pilot's Federation Hold a number of contests that last for about two months each for the many registered squadrons.These include keeping their areas of space big and happy, trading for the biggest total profit, and mapping the most amount of planets, all with gold, silver, and bronze medal holograms in all of them. One of the categories was support for the Over-Arching Powers, like Aisling, Li, Denton, all them. We in the Legion were supporting Arissa, obviously, and we beat out those supporting Winters by just a hair. The wait for the results was painful, everyone was on edge, but when word came in that we got the gold, comms went loud with cheers and relief was palpable. Millions of points were racked up, so winning by about 27,000 is pretty dang close. During the last couple of hours, I did a lot of sprinting back and forth to try and keep the lead. There was a short impromptu Celebration for it, too; lot of us met up in Marker Depot, I'm writing this after that. Milo brought in a bunch of apples, of course, he seems obsessed with them sometimes. Osuenn showed up a bit late, but not as late as the (in)famous Ignis Montis, I think he's like third in command for Lavingy's Legion. Maybe second with Milo, since he does all the clerical work.My Dragoon has been getting made fun of some, I see it as light-hearted. 'Better ships that do it better' they say, but I like her; She's support, in-battle repairs and shield recharging, and the ability to take out external modules on enemy ships that cause troubles. No one complains about that, especially when their shields are on the weaker side! The modifications ain't all done yet, but she's battle worth and can hold her own decently enough. If not, she's a Clipper, so she can still run pretty quick, too.
I'm not thinking of much else going on to write about, so I'm gonna end this one here. After that last second dash I'm a bit worn out, gonna take the next few days to unwind.
