I ended up signing up with another independent group group. More so than ARC was, they still had ties to the Alliance and Empire. From what I understand, these guys are Former Imperial, exiled, same as me. Speaking of Alliance, I've heard that Delta Squad is less than impressed with the circumstances of my Imperial departure, as well. News is gettin' around, that ain't gonna be a good shade of purple.Ramble ramble, this new bunch are from Avalon, deep in Imperial space, apparently they really wanted to Liberate it. Like REALLY wanted to, but they weren't making no progress. I admit I lent some help for it, but what progress I made (which was a huge spike in comparison) was quickly undone. Was only... about a month ago, if I recall correctly. I managed to convince most of this group, now called The Avalonian Wayfarers, to leave and try and set up a new home, on the fringes of civilization where the larger politics shouldn't bother us. The progress out here in comparison, WAY better than what was had before. Still a minor snag, but nothing this bunch can't handle.
As a bonus, these Wayfarers are also really big fans of those Avali things I've written about; old legends die hard, apparently. I'm curious to their reaction to my appearance when they finally meet me in person. Iunno about them, but I haven't left my ships in a few days. Been keeping myself busy, but I ain't complainin', even taught some of the wayfarers some tricks I learned about inner-system politics.
What else, what else...
I've heard rumors that some of these new suits, the ones that'll let us walk around planetside more reliably? Apparently they're not so reliable; Three new suits, all rushed into the public to impress investors, a millennia-old practice which never ends well, you'd think these corporations would learn from hundreds of years of history. Guess I can't call my suit a Remlock no more, the Maverick suit is also made by Remlock, and seems more of an upgrade to it. The other two released, the Artemis and Dominator, are more for Explorers and Security respectively. I hope the kinks get all worked out, and I hope they'll all do custom orders for my own physique; Not very often a space suit has to fit a tail. Maverick might not be too much an issue, Remlock already made me a custom flight suit. Speaking of my tail, I just recently noticed there's a little heart on the tip. Because of course their is.
I've upgraded my Jockey from a Diamondback to a Krait Phantom. Figured that's worth a mention.
Busy busy, back to swaying minds. The one thing I'm good at these days. Think I might give The Arctic Mage a new coat of paint. Something orange, maybe.
