I need to stop doing this, also gonna use numbers now.The Avalonian Wayfarers have their home, and it's been fairly secured. So long as they pay attention they should notice if things are going awry. I'd sure hope so, cuz I was probably the only person actually working towards it. I even had a plan with the local pirates, too, a deal: We help them get the majority of the planetside installations, they let us have as many materiels we needed from them. I'm hoping they'll go through with that plan, but I won't be around to monitor it: Due to me doing all the work, I've decided to pack up and head elsewhere. It's not out of spite or nothing, I'm fine with them not wanting to really do anything, being busy with other stuff. I just hope if and when trouble comes knocking they'll catch it.
Of course I'm not staying independent. By chance I met up with someone named Raphael Beauregard, and we hit things off pretty well. He's got his own group, Metavem Brotherhood. The good news is, thanks to my previous and vast experience in politics, I'm being granted a relatively high position in their ranks. The bad news is, by technicality, they're Alliance. They're within Mahon's Space and fit his agenda, so the Alliance in general has an interest in their system, even if they're not directly part of the Alliance. Fred ain't too happy about it, and I'm a bit skeptical, but I'm a believer in Second Chances. Clover, my recent SLF hire, is pretty excited about it, though, an adventure. I don't think I'm older than she is, but God do I feel it.
Sometime this month there's supposed to be a firmware update for these fancy suits. Honestly I've been powering through them as best I could, though I was personally told that 'due to the custom built nature of your hardware, updates might take a bit longer than usual.' Which is understandable.
After getting into Metavem's home system, I can see that some housekeeping work might need to be done, but that's just what I think. I'll speak it over with Raphael next time I see him.
