Damn you Thargoid scouts..! Damn you!! I did not want to fight you! But you keep at it. So have it. Note to Thargoid hunters; I am paying 1000% of galactic average for a 'Goid heart at Witch Head - details at the end of the entry!I give in. The kid-gloves come off now. They seem mindless anyway. Even to the extent that Thargoids themselves (or rather, the interceptors) do not seem to mind them much. For the first time ever, in the last couple of weeks, I have finally killed some Thargoids. Well scouts, to be exact. Still have not killed an interceptor. The funny thing is, as I was fighting the two scouts an interceptor also show'd up. It scanned me, and while I was fighting the scouts he used the shutdown field and then proceeded to just fly and jump away! Seemed as it couldn't matter less to him I was fighting the small ones. Weird.
Anyways, seeing as since the small guys drop materials I've not seen previously, and I have heard rumors of there being biological/Thargoid -inspired ship(s) on the design table... I think I have enough reasons to fight back now. They keep attacking, and I am probably going to need their parts if I am to get myself a new spanking funky alien tek ship one day. And I -must- have every and any ship possible I can lay my hands on. A hobby, an interest.. or maybe a fixation. It's a fine line? And I've lost sight of it years ago.
In retrospective, felt wrong not killing the scouts before. Counter to my nature a bit -as they initiated the hostilities. I do not really adhere to the dogma of turning the other cheek - at all; in my opinion that lays the seeds for a corrupted crop. I just gave them the benefit of the doubt; maybe they just didn't understand any better. Well, by now they ought to have learned. Unlike the interceptors who don't seem to hate me; I had just killed some scouts previously. And had my AX and Guardian weapon/module Krait Mk.II under me. But; he just scanned me and went about his business! This was a different one to the one who also did not attack me when I was fighting the scouts a little while earlier.
Still hesitant to kill the interceptors. Maybe the scouts are just like drones, and considered next to meaningless by the 'Goids. Am offering the maximum price for a Thargoid heart at my carrier though! The Prophecy (NBN-6VZ), in orbit above Shenve A1 at the Witch Head Nebula. Open or black market both work fine for me. I would still like to have that bobble-head.
