Journey into the Formidine Rift

I, CMDR BwC_NoFear, am by no means an explorer. I am in fact, a military man, a recent mercenary turned Vice Admiral of the Intergalactic Nova Republic.Except for my early days as an explorer, I rarely would be seen outside human inhabited space until one day, I was sitting in a bar in Jenner Hub (Zaragas). I overheard a pilot talking of a mission he was offered, " 32 Million CR to locate and gather reports on black site settlements in the Formidine Rift." No way in hell would I head out there, I thought to myself...
I'm now two days into my journey, 7000 LYs away from inhabited space, thinking to myself, "why the hell am I all the way out here".....
