LOG #1 COLONIA - SAGITTARIUS A* - BEAGLE POINT EXPEDITION

So, after more than half a year vacation I thought it would be nice to get some fresh air, and there can be no better place for that then the cold, dark vacuum of the void.It's been too long since I've been here, in the black, as some of those young fancy pants calls it. I prefer The Void. Because, if you've ever been farther than the damn Pleiades you'd know that this, so called, black - is actually pretty damn bright! Even with this fancy auto-toning canopy! The only place that you can call BLACK, is when you standing near the edge of our home sweet home Milky Way Galaxy, staring into the pitch blackness of the Dark Space...
But you never been there! I mean the dark space, of course! Sure if you are reading this, the Pleiades is like grabbing some beer in local market for you. But you are still here, in our Milky Way, whose center is shining behind your back with a huge wall of yellow-orange of his arms. So the black is unreachable for us, yet. Not that there are reasons to leave, I can tell you that! What I shouldn't tell you is how vast and enormous our Galaxy is - you know that, most likely more than me! 'Cause my "close" is your "far" and my "far" is yours "I ain't going there, pal"!
But enough boasting already. It won't get you far, and I admit I'm not the most crazy of those explorer's folk out here. But I'm the oldest! That's for damn sure! So screw you and your little pants! What? While this old hag Felicity is sitting on her little base tuning your FSDs I'm here! In The Void!

Ah! Today is the fourth day of my little personal expedition. Engine is hot, arms are strong and the head is clear! Almost!
I'm now 9,634 Light years from you (if you are chilling on one of the Sol system tourist spot). Colonia system is somewhere there in 12,712 light years. If things will go as good as they were so far I believe I will get there in 5 days, give or take. You can never know with those UNEXPLORED systems (You saw one, right, pants?) I'm always was on of the kind that can't miss these systems. At least good ones.
I will try to keep these logs as substential as I can. So if everything will be fine (sure it will be) I'll see you at the colony. After that. The real work will begin.
