LOG #5 COLONIA - SAGITTARIUS A* - BEAGLE POINT EXPEDITION

30 May 2017Al Tarf
Well, the end of Earth's autumn is closing, and I'm still nowhere nere the end. First it was hard, but in the end my good old ship started to act strangely. Not without my help, of course! Too many neutron bosted jumps, I guess. My engine threw me of the supercruise right in the midle of the flight due to malfunction. Hell that was unexpected! I would surely be a goner, if not for my emergensy repair module. You can go this far without this stuff, or you won't be around to tell the tale, believe me!

Anyway, the FSD was not the only reason I stopped. That damn emergency exit screwd up my other systems. My ship, already torn by cosmic winds, couldn't hold that punishment easy, so I was forced to land on the nearest planet for maintenance and repairs. Took me a lot longer than I thought. I had to drive all over the damn planet for raw materials I could use...

Anyway, I'm still here, no need for burial just yet. I will be back on the track in a couple of days. My determination is just tempered with difficulties. I'll try to keep you updated as before. Don't you worry, I'll get to Beagle Point whatever happens.

Nighty night, folks!

Here's one of my firsts. Betelgeuse:
