Logbook entry

Admist the current Unidentified Interstellar Anomaly situation and reaction from our community of commanders, we deemed necessary to formalize our position in regards of the recent events. We believe that times of uncertainty are oportunities to make our values stronger and to discard fake beliefs.

RazorLabs is an Independent organization and as such, we do not support war as solution for any kind of problem. We consider lust for political power and territorial dominance a throwback towards our primate past in Earth's biomes. It's a historical fact that no reasonable solution was found without conversation whereas war only been a tool of delay, prolonging pain and suffering, specially from the innocent.

Unfortunately, there are no registers of successfull communication with the thargoid species, despite our attempts, nor evidences of their interest to approach humankind in a peaceful manner, history suggests otherwise. Their expanse in the galaxy never showed regard or respect for inhabitant species as it is documented in Guardian registries. Although mostly passive in individual encounters, there is no evidence they have any interest in coexisting with any other kind of living being other than their own.

Independent groups who claim support for the thargoid have failed proving otherwise and neither could create a channel of dialogue nor obtain a response from them.

The idea of trust on such kind of entity the fate of our safety is far from coherent, it is imprudence. Thus, we see Salvation actions as a valid effort in keeping human safety against the threat thargoid poses to all of us. We have faith that Azimuth Biotech will be able to finish the Proteus project and provide humankind a tool to ease the uncertainty that we live now. For this, we are willing to provide support for a thargoid response when deemed necessary.

We condemn the groups supporting the thargoid threat. We consider they are being led by fanatics and showing behavior resembling that of the stockholm syndrome. We do not support any kind of violent repression against them, yet we remain vigillant and we will respond if they become a threat to any infrastructure, community or organization involved in thargoid defense.

Sadly, our future is currently unknown. A mighty enemy is not a reason to seek harbour in cowardness and excuses, but to stand ready to fight. We call all pilots to gather their resources towards thargoid combat as we will.

Em meio a atual situação da Anomalia Interestelar Não-identificada e respectiva reação de nossa comunidade de comandantes, julgamos necessário formalizar nossa posição com relação aos eventos recentes. Acreditamos que tempos de incerteza geram oportunidades para fortalecer nossos valores e descartar crenças falsas.

A RazorLabs é uma organização independente e, como tal, não apoiamos a guerra como solução para qualquer tipo de problema. Consideramos a sede por poder político e por dominação territorial como um retrocesso em direção aos nosso passado primata nos biomas da Terra. É um fato histórico que nenhuma solução equilibrada foi alcançada sem diálogo, enquanto a guerra é apenas uma ferramenta de atraso, prolongando dores e sofrimentos, especialmente dos inocentes.

Infelizmente, não existem registros de comunicações bem sucedidas com a espécie thargoid, apesar das nossas tentativas, nem evidências do interesse dos mesmos em uma aproximação pacífica com a humanidade, o histórico sugere o contrário. A expansão thargoid na galáxia nunca demonstrou consideração ou respeito por outros habitantes, como está documentado nos registros Guardians. Apesar de normalmente passivos em encontros individuais, não há evidências de que eles tenham qualquer interesse em coexistir com outros tipos de seres vivos além deles mesmos.

Grupos independentes que declaram apoio aos thargoids falharam em provar o contrário e também não conseguiram criar um canal para diálogo ou obter uma resposta deles.

A ideia de entregar a este tipo de entidade o destino da nossa segurança está longe de ser coerente, é imprudência. Desta forma, nós vemos as ações do Salvation como um esforço válido para a manutenção da segurança humana contra a ameaça que os thargoids fazem a todos nós. Acreditamos que a Azimuth Biotech será capaz de finalizar o projeto Proteus e fornecer à humanidade um instrumento de apaziguamento para a incerteza em que vivemos atualmente. Para isto, estamos dispostos apoiar uma resposta aos thargoids quando for necessário.

Nós condenamos os grupos que apoiam a ameaça thargoid. Consideramos que estão sendo liderados por fanáticos e demonstrando comportamento característico de sindrome de estocolmo. Não apoiamos qualquer tipo de repressão violenta contra eles, mas permanecemos vigilantes e responderemos no caso de se tornarem uma ameaça a qualquer infraestrutura, comunidade ou organização envolvida na defesa thargoid.

Infelizmente, nosso futuro neste momento é desconhecido. Um inimigo poderoso não é motivo para procurar abrigo na covardia ou em desculpismo, mas sim para preparar-se para a luta. Convocamos todos os pilotos a reunirem seus recursos para o combate thargoid, como faremos.

Não nos curvamos para ninguém.
