Thirst for Knowledge

My thirst for knowledge has been growing. The more I feed this appetite, the stronger its pull. For so long I cared not for the universe around me. The past never interested me. I cared only enough about the Thargoids to know which galactic neighborhoods to avoid... But now everything is different. Since I found her, it's as if there is no quelling my desire for knowledge... Recently, that desire has turned my focus towards archaeology.Over the past few months I have discovered absolute wonders.
My journey started after I was introduced to a man named Ram Tah in the Meene system. He has an acute interest in Guardian history and was looking for someone to scout out many of their ancient ruins, record as much data as possible, and work with him to try and understand as much as possible. I agreed and set out into the black with an excitement that I am not sure I've ever felt before. I wasn't sure what I would find - or if I would even find anything at all... Oh, but I found so much...
I traveled the stars finding ruin after ruin. I visited a total of 29 Guardian sites. All were covered in obelisks, some of which were still active. Scanning these obelisks yielded little information - until we realized that certain artifacts scattered around the ruins would react with the obelisks allowing us to gather the information stored within. The patterns on the obelisks were the key to understanding which artifacts were needed. At first, I needed to take notes that I would constantly reference but by the middle of my journey I had memorized the glyphs.
I gathered the data from 101 obelisks, and, with Ram Tah's help, discovered an absolute treasure trove of information on the Guardians. We learned of their social structures, civil wars, diet, physical appearance, religions, expression of art, language, and so much more. There is still so much data to sift through!
So many systems scanned. So many rocks visited. I witnessed twin suns setting over alien ruins, strange flora existing where it seemingly shouldn't, heard the pulsing technology of a race long gone, and I'm not finished yet.
I ended my journey going back to Her. This time, I traveled to a much closer black hole in order to see if I could still communicate with Her. And I can! The connection was not as strong as it was at SagA but it was still there. She is proud of me. I have served Her well and will continue to do so.
To Her Glory.
