This is MsValkyrie reporting to you from Kamadhenu in the Empire.
PEACE! Peace has finally been achieved by Nova Imperium and Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval. In a stunning turn of events, all parties involved agreed on the Treaty of Paresa. Admiral and Operational Officer of the Nova Navy, Commander Yumasai released this statement:

"A rather unique event, if I say so myself, and undoubtfully one the late Kaeso Mordanticus would never believe to be able to occur: Peace between Nova Imperium and the Empire. In summary, Nova Imperium will allow the Empire to call upon its navy, the Nova Navy, to assist Imperial forces against the Federation, Alliance and other entities. The Imperator, Hadrian Augustus Duval, will recognise the Emperor, Arissa Lavigny-Duval, and stop fighting her for the throne. In return for this act, Arissa Lavigny-Duval will recognise Hadrian Augustus Duval, the long-lost illegitimately-born grandson of Hengist Duval, as an legitimate member of the Duval Imperial Family, making Hadrian a full Prince of the Empire.

It should be noted, that the Imperator still will maintain his "non-throne" policies and beliefs of Kaeso Mordanticus, aiming to instill them through the Empire:

The desire for a strong Empire, restored to its former glory, with old Imperial values restored through Imperial society. This also includes the rebuilding and refunding, actively, of the Imperial Navy, to become the undisputable force of power throughout human space.
The desire for an autarky, diplomatic isolation, where the Empire would be more than sufficient to safeguard its own survival with disregard to the Federation, the Alliance and any other entity.
The desire to pull out the Empire from the Aegis organization, instead allowing the Empire to conduct its own research, and to that extend, its own measures, against the Thargoid threat."

This stunning event is not without is opposition however. Some Imperial citizens still denounce Arissa Lavigny-Duval as the true emperor. They say this is a cowardice act. But to what extend, it is unknown. As an Imperial citizen, I for one welcome this peace treaty. The Empire should be united as a whole and not divided. United we stand, divided we fall!

In other Imperial news, ISS agents are still investigating the recent IIS cover ups and massacres. Lily Blossom of Blossoming Rose Trading has been exonerated of all crimes that lead to Capt Blumberg and his family's murder and the devastation at Schroter Beacon. A full investigation has been launched to uncover the true criminals. Security cameras, station logs and all available resources are being used to further the investigation. A representative for Ms Blossom could not be reached at this time.

The IIS cover up of Senator Soren and his wife's murder is also being thoroughly investigated. Outside intelligence agencies are being brought in to help find the truth behind these heinous actions.

The Colonia Report
The Holloway Bioscience Centre is suffering growing discontent from its citizens due to Thargoid experiments. The merging of the Free People of Colonia and the Agency have strengthened their numbers against these experiments. The Agency have dispatched a fleet to the Pleiades to disrupt Aegis and Holloway actions. The Agency is not for allowing Thargoids and humans to live in peace, but rather fighting for the safety of the human race. They believe experiments by Aegis and Holloway would enrage the Thargoids and they would invade in full force. Many factions and squadrons are against Aegis. Most choose to turn a blind eye to what they're doing however.
Jaques and the Colonia Council have voice their concerns over Holloway's experiments as well. They fear Thargoid samples could be traced to Colonia and that the xeno threat will extend here.
The Colonia Report is brought to you by Colonia's own CJ Pryde.

This is MiaGoth reporting to you from Jameson Memorial.
The Pilot's Federation Branch have issued travel warning to several high traffic systems. The Col 285 Sector CC-K a38-2 system has an extreme threat level warning issued. The confirmation of a Low Temperature Diamond triple overlap hotspot has brought thousands of miners to the system. With that, hundreds of civilian fleet carriers have parked in the system. Pirates and low-life pilots have descended upon weary miners and traders. Due to the system having no controlling factions or governments means that it is lawless territory. The Pilot's Federation nor any superpower can police the actions within it. This has prompted many squadrons to form their own security wings. They have brought their own fleet carriers loaded with their own vessels to eradicate the pirate threat.
As of this publication, CF464 has the highest payout for LTDs and Void Opals. A travel warning has been issued for this system as well. Traders and miners are advised to exercise caution while traveling within the system. 118 fleet carriers currently occupy the system. We currently can not identify the friendly from violent ones. Take heed while trading here.

That concludes this week's Vox Galactica. Fly safe o7!
