BREAKING NEWS!!!!
This is MsValkyrie reporting to you LIVE from Arc's Faith in HR 1183.
The Beluga cruise liner hijacked by Thargoids has reappeared in HR 1183. The vessel, which is now confirmed to be Pleiades Pleasure Cruises, was found by a wing of Thargoid hunting independent pilots. The ship is devoid of human life. It has massive hull breaches and caustic damage caused by Thargoid resin all over the outer hull.
The preceding images, taken from the hunters, show just how badly the ship has been damaged. Cooper Research Associates authorities have contacted a representative from Nova Imperium, as this cruise line is operated by a member of the Nova Navy. Cmdr Supaflyygirl runs a cruise line out of Paresa touring the Pleiades, Witch Head and California Nebulae. We have been unable to locate or contact her for information on this story. Nova Imperium has dispatched Admiral Lindholm to assess the damage and conduct a thorough investigation. Cooper Research is conducting their own investigation as they control the system.
Black box audio indicates the Thargoid vessels hyperdicted the cruise liner and began attacking. A third Thargoid, an Orthrus Interceptor, appeared and the 2 Hydras ceased firing. It was at this time the vessel was pulled into the Thargoid wormhole. Black box comms end there until the ship reappears in HR 1183 where it indicates the ship was dropped out of hyperspace and the Thargoids retreated. Cooper Research has dispatch SAR operations throughout the system and outlying systems for any signs of escape pods. They request any pilots patrolling the system to be on the lookout for escapees, whether dead or alive.
Anti-xeno citizens are pissed! They shout that the Thargoids have crossed the line abducting innocent tourists. The mood around here is WAR. Squadrons of pilots have began to delve into the system to take up arms against the Thargoids. Many residents are citing an impending Thargoid invasion. Xeno presence has been slowly rising. The presence of Thargoid sensors and probes have yet to be seen, but something is looming on the horizon. The much controversial Aegis Co has been seen beefing up their presence in the Pleiades. This has particularly angered the Imperial faction, Nova Imperium. Aegis has deployed vessels to Imperial controlled stations in the Nebula much to the dismay of Nova Imperium.
As this situation begins to unfold, I will bring you all the details right here first on VOX GALACTICA!
