Canonn Challenge Entry 1: Aboard the DSSA Pilgrim's Harbor

04 Dec 2020Scopelx
Following the successful deployment of my fleet carrier, the DSSA Nest, to the Mare Somnia region I returned to the frontier hub of Colonia to relax and plan my next voyage. It was here that I learned that the DSSA Pilgrim's Harborwas departing from the Bubble en route to Hieronymous Delta. I decided to rendezvous with the expedition and eventually accompanied them as far as the Conduit. The following report depicts at least one example of each of the lifeforms I scanned during this leg of my journey.

Prasinum Bioluminescent Anemones
System: Iwaisty YE-A g13

Blatteum Bioluminescent Anemones
System: Pyraleau SO-R e4-2

This was the first time I had discovered biological sites present on a ringed world, and made for some unique vistas.

Bark Mounds
System: Preae Ain PI-B d143

Bark mounds are likely well-known to any explorer or tourist who has spent time around nebulae. Their ubiquity speaks to their ability to thrive regardless of the region of space and this fact alone makes bark mounds an interesting species.

Crystalline Shards
System: Smooreau LO-O d7-69

These organisms are found exclusively on the galactic rim. They only develop far from a system's primary star, but the time spent to reach them is worth it as they are hailed as an unparalleled source of rare materials that are refined by microorganisms comprising the shards.
