36th Logbook Entry - Nearing my Mercenary Goal

Beginning audio logbook speech to text recognition."I've been fighting on the ground assaulting and defending settlements for what feels like weeks now. Time and location blurs after your life is on the line for so many days in a row. I've found a settlement that I can feel proud to defend... I won't name it though in case any pirates, bandits, or other scum find this message and want to undo the good I've done there. I suspect the battle will be over in a few days time and that's not enough to meet my accolade goal for "The Mercenary" rank 5. I already have Elite V Mercenary rank, but I'm gunning to be number 1 in they galaxy so I have to further prove myself.
I'm trying to keep tonight's logbook short. I'm exhausted and ready to be done with this, honestly. I just can't stop until my goal has been met. I suspect I will need to find a new battleground to finish my goal. I think once I finish this I'll either get back to rebooting settlements or pick up where I left off on my "The Exobiologist" rank 5 accolade. I'll figure it out later. My brain is fried.
