40th Loogbook Entry - Merc Rank 5 and 10,000 Fires

Beginning audio logbook speech to text recognition."I've done it! I've been awarded with "The Mercenary" rank 5 accolade! It was hard fought for and well earned. One of the more difficult accolades so far, in fact. I thought about putting up my handheld weapons and doing some ship-based accolade hunting, but I'm too in the zone for that right now. So it's back to putting out 10,000 settlement fires. The military installment I'm currently putting these fires out at is full of scvengers. Every single time I drop in to restore power and put out fires there is a small army of well armed fighters. So far, I've handled them. We'll see if I can keep it up.
I plan to continue to help this settlement and others like it with their power needs and fire issues for the next few days until I've finished progress on my accolade. If any damaged starports pop up, though, I'll head straight there. That cant wait. Last time I was collecting escape pods with some other items and transfering them to safety on the rescue ship. This time I plan on landing and ferrying as many passengers as I can to get them to safety. Once they are all safe I can worry about the escape pods and other items again. I know I keep saying it, but one of these days I'm going to jump back into my Krait for some AX. Maybe I can prevent these stations from even being damaged in the first place if our offensive is strong enough...
