44th Logbook Entry - Of Platinum and Pirates

Beginning audio logbook speech to text recognition."These damned pirates are bleeding me dry! For the first time in my career as a commander I am playing nice with the pirates in this platinum hot spot Haz Res. I'm not in a position to defend myself in my mining vessel so I just give them what they want. It wouldn't be a problem if there was just the occasional pirate, but they are like roaches, jumping out from every newly mined asteroid! Hell, at one point I swear they formed up and sat in line as they patiently waited to rob me back to back!
Well... I know exactly what accolade I'm striving for after I finish "The Miner" rank 5 and there are no damaged starports and that is "The Hunter" rank 5. I will step in to the command of The Flying Dutchman, my Federal Corvette, return to this exact Haz Res, and lay waste to any and all pirates in the area. Black markets in every system adjacent will shut down after I've demolished every bit of scum that could possibly steal and fence goods to them!
I'm getting too worked up... and just before bed. I won't be able to sleep if I keep it up. I absolutely mean what I said, but for the time being I'll leave it there.
