"A journey 1,500,000 lightyears long in 20 days. It seems insane when you say it out loud. But that's what I'm doing. Two days in and all is well. I have plenty of heatsink synths, a few AMFUs filled to capacity, and a solid repair limpet controller with an empty cargo hold primed and ready for limpet synths if needed. I've already put a solid 150,000 lightyears towards my goal. Years ago that kind of distance in 2 days was unheard of, but thanks to the modern marvels of the galaxy's finest engineers, I'm riding at 84.5 lightyears per jump in my Anaconda. That's just unreal.

I used to think the galaxy was so large, and it still is, but I suppose it seems much smaller now with these huge FSD numbers. From any point in the galaxy, over the course of a single day, I can make it to literally any location. It's reassuring because if things get rough I can plot a direct course for the nearest port and handle repairs. But, to stay within my speedrun time limit, I'm trying to avoid any stations. The next 20 days for me consist of jumping, scanning, jumping, scanning, jumping, and on and on and on.

I'm flying through some incredible nebulae, but no time for pictures. I'll come back when it's all said and done to get those. I am making a mental note of the good looking ones. I've got plenty of podcasts and movies downloaded that I'm watching as I'm jumping. Hopefully I have enough to last me the entire trip.

Commander VladmirMcDoogle signing out."
