59th Logbook Entry - Preparing for the Stargoid's Arrival

From the radio chatter I heard there are now 7 or 8 of these things up from the original 3. Who knows how many more are still out there left to discover. At any rate I'd like to be fully prepared, so I've come up with a to-do list of commodities, materials, and data to acquire before things get messy. We have some pretty talented engineers and I have a feeling they will require some very specific things for any new suits, weapons, or ships that may be used to fight this new Stargoid menace.
I plan on maxing out all data related to Thargoids. This involves scanning Thargoids with a Xeno Scanner and visiting the Thargoid surface sites to hit the uplinks hiding around the areas. A trip to the guardian ruins is also important to max all obelisk data as well as blueprints to have on hand. I figure 10 of each of those should do nicely.
Next up is materials. I'll max out Guardian materials for ammo synths or unlocks. I'll also kill Thargoid Interceptors to get the materials they drop after the caustic cloud has dispersed upon their deaths.
Finally, I plan on storing many different commodities on my fleet carrier that may be used for unlocks or upgrades. These will be Guardian Relics, converted Unclassified Relics (done at the Thargoid surface sites), Thargoid Resin, Thargoid Biological Material, Thargoid Technology Components, Thargoid Sensors, Thargoid Probes, Thargoid Links, Thargoid Hearts, and Thargoid Tissue Samples (one for each different variant). For many of these commodities I will need the 4E corrosion resistant cargo racks which I've already unlocked.
I already have all normal raw and manufactured materials fully maxed along with all encoded data maxed. I think it's important to be as prepared as possible, because quite frankly, we have no idea what is heading our way. Even a small delay could make a massive difference. We've been given a small gift... the gift of time. We know something is coming. Let's do our best to get ready for it.
Commander VladmirMcDoogle signing out."
