I believe a brief recap to the last entry is necessary for context of this one. For the past four days I have been working in the Sothis and Ceos systems after receiving an offer from a Federal Navy partner of mine. By delivering sensitive data and some basic commodities, I have steadily bolstered my standing within the Federal navy, to the rank of Rear Admiral, which is the point I am at as I record this entry.

Following my rank promotion, I was contacted by the Core Dynamics naval operations centre. They informed me that I had been given clearance to acquire a Corvette, the Federal Navy’s smallest official military vessel. I purchased a vessel, shook hands with the corporate officials who were exceptionally pleased when they saw the amount of money in my possession, and plotted a route to a specialist outfitter stocking high-end components.

During the journey, I realised the true scale of this vessel and was astonished that it only took a single person to pilot it. Truly the pinnacle of military engineering. I have never felt such potential in a vessel before, especially when considering it was without post-manufacture modifications at that point.

I upgraded most of the components to their maximum efficiency and outfitted weaponry. I also thought it would be an appropriate time to name this ship, which brings us to the present. I am greatly pleased to unveil the CNF Genesis of Calaban, the first vessel in the Calaban Naval Force line. I hope that this ship endures throughout the hardship of war and sees itself in a new era of peace of prosperity.

However, work still goes on. I’ve engineered some modules to complement the upgrades I’ve installed but many more materials are required to achieve the full potential that the Genesis has to offer. I hope to return to the frontlines once these projects are at their conclusion to assist the war effort. The combat will certainly help me test out the new weaponry and decide if any modifications are required.

End of log.

Until next time, fly safe Commanders.
