Active Crew Command Crew : Isa'hil Luca( Spec Ops LT), Rene Bradshaw(Engineering LT), Henry Dior(Science CPT).
With our coarse charted to Rhea system for debrief. Pondering this new threat to galaxy the Thargoid, it appears that humanity is on its way to annihilation.
The superpowers have fractured with dealing with political strife that could ultimately be the demise us all regardless of Federal, Imperial or alliance upbringings. We should have never trusted "Salvation". Why would the governments have put our trust in unvetted and mysterious person.
Now AEGIS is gone, Imperials have gone into seclusion and Alliance is trying muster up some kind of militia.
[alert chime] a message from Fleet Command
Getting out of my chair to read the orders from command - opening the message, expecting the run of the mill peace keeping mission but it was not. We were to meet with the Fleet and prepare for departure to Colonia system. High command has ordered the fleet to assist the Colonia Council with establishing control of the nebula.
This was not good, a lot of the crew will not be happy with this command as Thargoid threat increase with appearance of "Star-Goid" approaching. I can tell that crew are not in good spirits. I Summon the presence our command staff to briefing room so we dispatch the order and inform the crew.
Walking down the hall to the briefing room I can hear the crew talking about getting home, planet side leave, vacation, kids, wives, and ect. PVT Anthony Jenning with excitement on his face asked "how long we are going to stationed on Rhea" but I had no answer for him except "We have new orders." Continuing pass the sleeping quarters I can see people packing up for the deserved idle time, I finally arrive at the briefing room.
"Attention on Deck" shouted LT Isa'Hil
"At Ease" i replied
We have new orders, that are not a easy pill to swallow we are to meet with the Fleet in the Fang system prepare for departure to Colonia System. High command and their "Wisdom" believe it is best to help the Colonia council reestablish control of the nebula. Prepare the crew for the orders, all who have applied leave shall be granted and replaced.
LT Rene Bradshaw objected - this can not be we have thargoid menace, imperial aggression, slavers, and grieving staff what is some important in Colonia, Federation does not even have a presence that nebula is just a bunch independent system?
LT Isa'Hal Luca objected- i have to agree- but it honestly because my boys are tired, and some good R&R will do them some good
CPT Henry Dior- concurred our last dispatch to quell that raid in Guarijio system has really put stress on our ship some repair time would be good the crew and ships. FNS Duke Dagger is barely operational, FNS Gilgamesh fire control system is offline and we low on SLFs.
I heard their objections I reiterated to them that this is not optional or assignment, this is a order from high command and cannot be simply objected to since it not just our squadron but the FLEET that has been commanded.
