Pleiades Sector Recon and Examination
02 Sep 2016PBSF Pendragon
Captain Pendragon of the PBSF, log 1.0.This is my first logbook since leaving the safety of Ising vision. I'm a long way from home here, roughly 400 light years, and the skies are dark.
I'm currently investigating the crashed object in Pleiades Sector AB-W B2-4, and am landed at coordinates -26.35 +97.76 nearby the wreckage, which I have named T-1
Thanks to the efforts of Captain Azire and Lieutenants Ominae and WiredMajordoom, we have conducted a number of tests on the T-1, though it seems as inert as an object can be.
There was no reaction to any form of scan, and some pilots in the area have also used weapons fire both kinetic and thermal to try and interact. we have recorded these results so that we do not have to perform the same testing (though why pilots would think to shoot it is frankly beyond me)
The shape of the main structure seems to have the 8 sided symmetry we associate with the Thargoid menace, a fair size and organic in formation. No markings which would coincide with conventional munitions, and no sign of what might have caused the crash landing.
We have documented the local site, and the nearby area. With no reactions from the T-1 so far, I'm bedded down. Not as much room in the Scout as I'm used to in Jane, but needs must. After a little further documentation tomorrow, I will be checking systems and prepping Suzy for the flight home to assist Cpt. Argon with Operation Janus after recieving the following communication from a nearby system
For now, no news is good news, I suppose. Cpt. Pendragon, with ESA - Suzumebachi from Pleiades Sector , signing off. Visual documentation incoming
