"Home Sweet Home". After the last month spent in the Pleiades nebula to push away the Thargoid advance, I have finally come back to the Bubble. I usually do the repairs to my ship myself, but considering the urgency of returning, I left instructions to the employees of the Copernicus Observatory station to review the TFS Repley, my Anti Xeno Krait Mk II. I have been missing for a long time and considering the Summit in progress, I suspected that I would encounter long queues for docking to the main stations of the neighbors systems to Sirius system.I had originally planned a safe route on the TFS Cortana's onboard computer, to Schwann Port station in the Hajangai system, as I had some unfinished business regarding the upgrading of some sensors on my transport ships. Only later did I decide to take a small detour to the Sol system.
I hadn't been back to the station for years, and much more to Mars. I remember the first time I saw it from up there, I had just left with a shuttle from the Tharsis military base. It seemed so small, so distant, it seemed a stranger. My entire existence was deeply tied to that partially terraformed planet that held humanity's hope to create life in a hostile and cold Universe.
