Hunting in LAVE system for rares traders.
Met CMD GARAGEKNIGHT. in ASP X
Could not intercept him before he jump out.
Time to see if abandonning shields for stealth fit was a good set up...
Ambush station at 7km away. With A-scans and shut thrusters, I can see without being seen, which give me the edge.
Now we wait...
Not for long, seems CMD GARAGEKNIGHT is in a hurry. As all traders, time is money, hey? Well maybe not this time...
He left station and headed to LEESTI.
Thrusters on. FA off. Wave scan confirms Leesti. FSD on. Full Speed set. Jump
I arrived a little earlier in LEESTI, scanning targets than finding him.
After many many attemps, he gets interdicted.
"CMD! Cooperate and you wont loose your ship !! You have 5 SECONDS to CUT ENGINE and SUBMIT to SCAN !"
I say again

No response, closure rate is decreasing. Time for action.
Even if running, he may well survive and make the day, unless he's carrying slaves. No mercy for slave dealers, but hey ! A running traders deserve respect. Trade runs miust be boring to hell, for sure some adrenaline rush is good for all.
NEVER EVER DESTROY a trader who escapes. NEVER, EVER !!
Yes it takes skills to stop a running trader, and thats what PIRACY is about.
It is not about being mercyfull. Just Common sense. Only a fool would kill his milk cow.
Finally got his shields down. 2 missiles strikes cut his drives and a now he spins helplessly in cold dark space.
He got it wrong from the start : relying on sheer speed to escape. Bad call. Sorry Buddy
Results of the day : Full cargo of lavian Brandy and Antic eggs !! worth the efforts
Hope you made it anyway, CMD GARAGEKNIGHT. Not sure you received my hint to launch your restart/repair sequence. It should have allowed you to resume your trip.
Oh ! By the way ! Another good surprise ! My stealth fit allowed me to avoid Police ships. They could not spot me while I was scooping !!
I think I will stick to this fit. I did not expected that but it worked fine for me. A good advantage when hunting in security systems
Now I on my way to EURYBIA! I know somebody who would be more than happy to share some Brandy and look for my missile rack.
And the distance will increase my margin selling ill-gotten rares.
