On My Way to Shinrarta Dezhra

17 Jun 2020A. Vanderlinde
Well, it's been almost 200 hours since I began this journey. I've snatched up the Federation Permit required to enter the Sol system--my home. Before I head out there, and since I've heard so much about it, I think I'll stop by Shinrarta Dezhra and see what all the hubbub is about. I've been eyeing an Anaconda for a while now and might pick one up for a solid price thanks to the Jameson Memorial discount. I'm calling in my ASP Explorer now and after I juice it up and outfit it to the tens, I'll be making my way out.

I've missed the Exploration, my first long-distance starship. Been blasting away and digging up asteroids for a bit now and just recently got myself into the Billionaire's Club. It wasn't too long ago I shed away my Supercruise and Docking assist modules. Now I have a sort of confidence when pirates are flashing scans my way, with a full cargo hold or not. I didn't document it, but I've had a spanking-new Python for a couple weeks now. Sub-surface and laser mining have been pretty damn profitable.

For about the past week I've seen unmarked capital ships anchoring alongside dozens of ringed worlds with LTD conditions. They don't seem to have any allegiance or affiliation to the Federation or Empire (thank the gods). I've definitely had a few laughs at some of the designations I've seen. Made a few stops myself recently and although they were basically abandoned, they had everything I needed to recharge.

I might wrap myself up one of these "mobile bases", one day. There's so much still to see, and my eyes are fully rested.
