***Log Start 5/6/3302***Such a disaster! Whilst running slaves between Apurui and Namon I was pulled out of supercruise and attacked without provocation by pirates. Unfortunately I was in my Type 6 transporter, and the poor girl took a beating. I dubbed her Fatman because of her massive cargo payload, but it wasn't enough. I escaped, but ran out of O2 6.2 KM from Hereford City. Lucky a rescue crew got to me and I was saved, but the damage too my ship was too great and exploded only a few hours after my retrieval.
In addition I was fined 3.6 million for damages to the station and reckless endangerment of other pilots. this of course is in litigation right now and I will not be paying anything according to my lawyer. So much for moving my family here...
I was able to recover much of my cargo and was able to make some of my money back, but I can't afford another setback like this. I hopefully will be getting authorization for an Imperial Courier soon, and I hope I'll be able to escape from these much easier in the future.
On another note my Cobra MkIII just returned from being outfitted and it looks pristine. I will be using this ship for the foreseeable future, and hope to rebuild from there.
