Log book Entry 6, Cmdr IrishdavoMany days into my voyage through the black, I found myself lost, rudderless. I was distracted from my initial goal of visiting the Collection of Wonders from the outset with the promise of finding new and exciting assets, this led to me running from system to system with no real purpose... Honk, Scan, Honk, Scan and rarely, too rarely, DSS somethings. One notable stellar phenomenon, some worthy planets but a whole load of Rocky Bodies.
I am still raging the odd time though, to break the monotony I guess, by the Commanders who deem it acceptable to Honk a system, the proceed to FSS the worthwhile bodies. ALL OR NONE PEOPLE!!!
In the absence of a mission, bouncing from system to system, I decided to enter as many sectors as possible... The Arcadian Stream, the Norma Expanse, the Norma Arm, the Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm, and Odin's Hold, and all of the unexplored systems in between, I needed to consider heading to some semblance of civilisation.
My trusty Explorer took a bit of a kicking on the journey and needed a little TLC. In a break from the grind of pure exploration, I had to time to reassess the mission, I decided to head to the nearest station to me, 12,000 LY plus change away. In doing so I headed toward Colonia, though it is not the destination, I am heading to the Gandharvi System and to Caravanserai Station. This will give me the opportunity to rest up, sort out the Senan and bring her back to fighting/exploring trim. Have a long wash, shave, hopefully a drink or three and sleep in a bed with clean sheets, and that has been dressed once in a while, unlike my cot here...
After a wee sojourn in the station I aim to head to The Collection of Wonders and perhaps Eagle Sector on my way back to the bubble.
Either way, I will keep you appraised.
