Entry 7, Exploration Jaunt, still contd

Logbook Entry 7, Cmdr IrishdavoDuring a hugely restful and profitable rest in Gandharvi System, Caravanserai Station, station to be precise, I took the time to refit the LE Senan, and to "refit" my mission parameters... I had left Jameson Orbital with a clear plan only to get side-tracked by the lure of exploring the Galaxy and to get my name on all of those unexplored systems, and yes! to gather up some space coin, hence the profitable reference earlier...
I decided that Skaude system needed to be on the cards as it is on my back to fulfil some Squadron duties back in the Bubble, it was also the catalyst that led to this space journey in the first place. Wow! What a good call, that system, know colloquially as The Collection of Wonders, is incredible. Two black holes, a ringed M-class star, a ringed white dwarf, and a ringed neutron star. The M-class star is one of the largest known stellar bodies containing a ring system and my God is it amazing. Even scanning the Tourist Beacon was a thrill. Just to have been a small part of that system was something that will stay with me for a very long time.
Humbling!
I stayed around the system for a day, "looking" at the sites and planning my next move. I needed to head back to the bubble as my squadron mates have plans afoot that I wanted to support so I worked out a route that would take me in that general direction. I decided to make a stop in Eagle sector en route to the Bubble, It is a system that I have wanted to visit for a while as I like the idea of Eagle Nebula, I also want to visit Eagle's Landing: It is situated inside the Eagle Nebula; and named for the Eagle, the lunar module used on the Apollo 11 mission by which the first humans landed on Earth's moon. It is historically significant to anyone from Sol for that reason alone and worth a stop over. From there, the plan is to make a straight shot to Jameson Orbital'
I reckon that will then be the end of the space exploration for a while, though space tourism is something that I will explore soon.
I will update this log after my visit to Eagle Nebula...
