Logbook Entry 15, Cmdr. IrishdavoOn hearing the news on Galnet of the recent Thargoid attacks in the Bubble, I decided to help out in Sol. The Li Qing Jao Starport was attacked and severely damaged. Having never seen the destruction wrought by Thargoids before, I have to admit that I was stunned by the devastation!
The caustic damage was still evident and still effective what is more surprising!! It also damaged my ship on contact.
I kitted out the Python with passenger cabins to make as much space as possible... I will try to help as many of those poor people as possible. What a nightmare for them. It just puts in to perspective the threat of living out here, in "civilised" space... Maybe surface living is the way to go!
I will do as many of these missions as needed and may head in to Empress Duvall territory also to lend a hand.
