Entry 16, Engineering, Again!!

Logbook Entry 16, Cmdr. IrishdavoHaving worked for hours rescuing people from the disaster in Sol, I headed to Empress Lavigny to help out there. While I was there I took the opportunity to but some Imperial Hammer Rail Guns. I could do with the added firepower in the FDL asnd fancied trying them out.
I got some, enough to do me for a while and headed to a high res zone at home to test them out and while they were awesome, I noticed a distinct rise in temperature and the Saoirse did not like it. I spoke to some other commanders and the mentioned fitting a beam laser to her and engineering it for Thermal Venting... A trip back to Blaster was in order.
Before doing this though, I decided to use my hard earned materials to engineer other modules, all with a view to better jump range and better firepower. A necessary element to both of those is a power plant and distributor to match the extra power output. I unlocked Broo Tarquin, a nut case but good at his job and I unlocked Liz Ryder, another good operator... Fujin Tea, though, Broo, what are you thinking??? but Hera Tani gave me the most substantial upgrades, power plant and DSS, Awesome!!
After the upgrades and such, I headed out to Blaster to do the weapons upgrades, this combined with the upgraded beam lasers from Broo and the power plant from Hera should combine to give me a warship that can hold its own.
Time will tell, I want to organise my anti Xeno ship next because I fear an incursion from the Thargoids, and while I feel nothing for them either way, I believe that war and conflict is inevitable, therefore, I want to support my people, my kind...
