Konig Tesla Log #1 - The 100M Expedition

18 May 2020sSPaTSs
I'm an avid explorer, exploring is one of the things I really like in this world, so I decided to put myself to a challenge, get 100M worth in exploration data in a single trip, no docking, and selling them in a system owned by my squadron, since I was a recruit and I wanted to help, why not getting 100M worth of exploration data for my first time ever help. With my trustworthy Hauler, named Bebop, a pretty simple ship, I paid a total of 677k on it, and I don't regret it, Bebop never failed on me during my exploration trips.

I started my expedition in LHS 20, Ohm City, anxious and excited for it. Going in my first system, doing detailed system scans of valuable planets, different planets, seeing every kind, and different types of planets, suns. At this moment, deep down, I kinda wished that Bebop had a bigger and wider view canopy.

Fast-forwarding many systems, planets, DSSs, being hundreds of lightyears away from Ohm City where I started, I finally reached 100M, finishing the challenge, I just couldn't believe that I got 100M worth of exploration data with my simple, basic and trustworthy Hauler that I paid around 600k from the money I got trading. I was unbelievably glad, and at the same time, tired.

But I was worried, I had 100M worth of data, meaning I couldn't die, or otherwise, hours and hours of my blood and sweat would be gone just like that. I got in touch with my Squadron Commander, CMDR Whiplash 1983, asking which system I could sell my data in a way that could help the most my squadron, I also told him that I was pretty worried about getting intercepted by players, he offered in escorting me to the designated system, we met in Arietis Sector, a system that was close to both of us, and here we go to the final destination to sell my data. Halfway through the path, something happened and we got split.

The worst thing that could happen, at the worst moment, I get intercepted in Li Na, the adrenalin kicked in, swerving and trying to aim at the escape vector of the interception, I spun for a second, my heart stopped, the red bar was increasing, but I managed to recover control of my ship, eventually managing to escape the interdiction. I was never so glad that I escaped an interdiction, where literally 100M and hours of exploring were at risk.

We finally arrive at the target system, I finally dock, after so many hours with no breaks, my ship UI is shaking, I don't know if it's me or Bebop. Finally, but finally, I can sell the exploration data that I worked so hard for. I couldn't even sell all of my data in just one press of a button because there was so much data, 3 pages worth of data, the first and second page were worth around 40M, and the last one was around 30M, totaling 110M. Finally, I finished the challenge, I was really glad in helping my squadron and finishing my first ever "solo" expedition. In the future, I'll definitely do more exploration expeditions but for now, that's it, my first logbook of my first ever expedition, The 100M Expedition.
